Feast of San Sebastian 15-23 January. The city of Chiapa of Corzo holds a mixed integration with a communal ritual, the most famous and intense in the world of Chiapas: the feast of parachicos, "The great Feast of Chiapa", the whole city participates in a top traditional celebrations in Mexico culminating in the large meal, eaten communally. This festival is famous for the colorful parade of parachicos - masked dancers- a parade of floats is headed by the representation of the legendary figure of the benefactress Mrs. Maria de Angulo and simulation of a naval battle with fireworks that takes out in the Grijalva River the night of January 21. Special masses are officiate and perform traditional dances.

In Zinacantan rise to ornate crosses throughout the town. Feast of St. Christopher martyr 17-25 July.
